LORI EL
A Richmond, Virginia native, Lori El is an anointed, energetic, engaging, powerful prophetic worshiper. She shares her message in music that connects with her audience and has a unique anointing that allows God to use her to minister through prophetic song over the lives of people. At the early age of 12, she made the decision to accept Jesus Christ and music became a passion for her. She received her Bachelors of Arts Degree from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma and began to embrace the gift of music and hone her vocal skills and talent.
Upon graduating, she moved to Los Angeles where she has since sung with gospel greats such as Gladys Knight and Kurt Carr and has toured with Fred Hammond, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Detrick Haddon, and Men of Standard on the “Power for Life Tour” and nationally toured with the stage play, “When A Woman’s Fed Up”.
Lori El released her freshman project entitled "It's All About Him" in 2002 which was later picked up by Lightyear/WEA who distributed the album nationally as "My Everything". Here she combined smooth melodies, contemporary beats and strong urban undertones to produce songs that could be enjoyed by all ages and talked about the most important relationship in her life, Jesus Christ. Her heartfelt ballad "You" held the No.1 position for weeks on the Brazilian music charts and continues to deliver the message of Christ with music that crosses all racial and cultural boundaries.
In March of this year, Lori El recorded her second live recording with new music, remixes of some favorites, and her signature sound. Her new project, “Better” is here and available on all streaming platforms!
